Max Healthcare Institute Limited is an authorized International training centre (ITC) of American Heart Association. The Training Centre supports the mission statement of AHA: “To be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives”.
MHIL ITC has been established to meet and enhance the training needs of all medical and non-medical staff working in various healthcare organizations. The training centre is committed to make each medical, nursing and paramedical professional confident to use his skills with practiced ease, at the highest standards, and in an environment that is safe for patients.

BLS PROVIDER COURSE
Delivery Format: Traditional Instructor and video
Instructor: candidates-1:6
Content / Modules:
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- Adult and pediatric CPR (including 2-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask)
- Foreign-body airway obstruction
- Use of automated external defibrillation with CPR
Features & Benefits
- This course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of choking.
- The course is video-based with instructor-led discussion and simulation. Students participate in, practice and complete various skills and learning stations.
- Ideal for learners who prefer group interaction and feedback from an instructor while learning skills.
Audience:
For healthcare providers – for example, EMS personnel, physician assistants, physicians, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists and others who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.
Testing: Written exam and skills test

ADVANCED CARDIO-VASCULAR LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS) PROVIDER

- Healthcare providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
- Students engage in simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader.
- Realistic simulations reinforce the following key concepts: proficiency in basic life support care, recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions, managing cardiac arrest, identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes, recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations (such as stroke) and providing initial care, ACLS algorithms, and effective resuscitation team dynamics.
Audience:
For emergency, intensive care, or critical care healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

- The course includes an online component “Instructor Essentials” which is to be completed successfully before the classroom session. PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS) PROVIDER

ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (EP) COURSE
ACLS for Experienced Providers goes beyond the core ACLS training by offering critical thinking opportunities for those advanced, experienced, healthcare professionals who use ACLS on a regular basis. The goal of ACLS EP is to improve outcomes in complex cardiovascular, respiratory and other (e.g., metabolic, toxicologic) emergencies by expanding on core ACLS guidelines and encouraging critical thinking and decision-making strategies. Through cooperative learning and active participation in case-based scenarios, learners enhance their skills in the differential diagnosis and treatment of prearrest, arrest and postarrest patients.
Feature and Benefits:
- Demonstrate proficiency in providing BLS care, including prioritizing chest compressions and integrating use of an AED
- Recognize and manage respiratory arrest
- Recognize and manage cardiac arrest until termination of resuscitation or transfer of care, including post–cardiac arrest care
Audience:
ACLS for Experienced Providers goes beyond the core ACLS training by offering critical thinking opportunities for those advanced, experienced, healthcare professionals who use ACLS on a regular basis. The goal of ACLS EP is to improve outcomes in complex cardiovascular, respiratory and other (e.g., metabolic, toxicologic) emergencies by expanding on core ACLS guidelines and encouraging critical thinking and decision-making strategies. Card/Certificate: Upon completion of all course requirements, participants receive an ACLS EP Provider Course Completion E-Card and certificate which is valid for two years.
