The Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital provides specialised intensive care for neurosurgical, neuro-trauma, neurovascular illnesses and injuries including a multiplicity of neurological disorders. Our multidisciplinary team of intensivists, neurologists, pulmonologists, neurosurgical specialists, works in coordination with other departments to provide comprehensive round-the-clock care for accurate diagnosis, effective treatment and caring support.
We offer state-of-the are facilities include ICP, seizure control, brain and spinal cord tumours, management of intracranial bleeding, Video-EEG monitoring, ICP reduction therapy, plasmapheresis thrombolytic therapy in stroke, and immunoglobulin therapy, to ensure that every patient receives the highest possible standards of patient care.
The Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (NICU) aims to cater to the unique medical needs of patients and focus on providing the advanced, multidiscipline, patient-centred treatment plan. The comprehensive care we deliver in a critical care setting is at par with international standards. We offer support services like rehabilitation, Physiotherapy Center in Mumbai, and prevention of sores (in chronic patients). We also teach domiciliary care to be taken at home.
